With latest news, reports about PlayStation 5 Pro being in development stage is surfacing step by step. While there are no official confirmations, the rumors alone are more than enough to thrill the console fans. The device is expected to provide further power compared to PlayStation 5, and provide a better new-gen console option. But realistically, many people actually expect to see just a “ramped up” version of original PlayStation 5 rather than a very remarkable innovation.
Reports and rumors indicate a timeframe for release, which is around 2024. PlayStation 4 Pro was also released around three years later after the original model, so this is a relatively accurate prediction to begin with.
This enhanced model will apparent come with even more impressive specs than the standard PS5, boasting enhanced performance, slicker resolutions, a better experience for PSVR/PSVR 2 titles, and massively improved ray-tracing.
Still though, it is best to not keep your hopes and expectations too high for the time being. The severe shortage for chips are not going away for some time, and Sony is not at its brightest era. Even a standart PlayStation 5 is not that easy to get, so a new line of all-powerful console is going to be much more difficult.
