Stalker 2 development process was recently announced to be paused due to the Russian invasion against Ukraine. This was a serious case and fans of the series was upset over the bad news. Now there is an update regarding the situation, and it is a good one.
According to the news, development process is going to be continuing in Czech Republic. This is made possible by moving certain parts of the studio to the country for a “foreseeable future period”.
Studio is quite straightforward in terms of being against the invasion, and they also changed the subtitle from “Heart of Chernobyl” to “Heart of Chornobyl”, which is Ukrainian instead of the usual Russian spelling.
