Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has been enjoying some good numbers as it exceeded expectations quick. Borderlands fans are all positive for Gearbox to be just as experimental with future titles. With that said, game has some issues of course. Recently Gearbox issued an update that was occasionally reported to remove whole story progress for players. A fix was created very soon, and a reward of free Skeleton Keys alongside the fix for players.
It was update 1.0.3.0A which reset all story progression for players, including a full map reset removing all fast travel unlocks. While this problem was occasionally encountered before by some players, the update in question impacted a lot more of the player base. On the same day, Gearbox acknowledged the issue and confirmed it was working on a fix. Those impacted by the bug previously should find that their save files in a fully recovered state. No progression should also be lost anymore.
Before jumping back in, Xbox players should be aware that some players are seeing a “blank inventory” bug after downloading the fix. Gearbox mentioned that Xbox users should have two updates, one fixes the progression issue and another recovers players’ inventory. Once downloaded, all should be good.
