We now have a new trailer for Alan Wake Remastered about the graphics improvements of expected remastered version. The comparison takes place between Xbox Series X and Xbox 360 versions.

Some of the improvements include 4K/60FPS on Xbox Series X and 1080p/60FPS on Xbox Series S, better cutscenes with better facial animations and lip-sync, better environments and better models. If these are not enough, we can also add general improvements to materials and textures in general, anti-aliasing, shadows, wind effects and further draw distances too.

Developers say that the rework of characters took most of their time. Character artists had a pretty serious job there, and this is understandably reflected in the trailer above. Animations are also improved on a similar level for both characters and gameplay. Many small details are now quite visible. Cinematics are reworked with a thorough effort too.

Environment was not forgotten, and now we are seeing a much more immersive atmosphere around the entire world. Realism is a lot better and it will surely compliment the successful environmental structure of Alan Wake. Both the physical and visual aspects of environment are nicely reworked by great teams to provide an experience that should not be forgotten anytime soon.

Alan Wake Remastered releases on Oct. 5 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and Xbox One.
