Apex Legends is finally having a dedicated sniper

Apex Legends fans are finally having what they have been eagerly waiting for, the new season called Hunted. This new season will begin tomorrow, and the teasers already hyped up the players about the new Legend called Vantage. Vantage is a character who focuses on sniping abilities, though we have little background information about her history.

There are three skills for Vantage to turn the battlefield into her playground by stalking her enemies from afar. Let’s take a look at them shortly.

Spotter’s Lens (passive): Aim down sights to focus and get a bullet drop indicator to see where your bullet will drop.

Echo Location (tactical): Place your companion Echo and then Launch yourself towards him. Echo must be in your line of sight to perform the launch.

Sniper’s Mark (ultimate): Use your custom sniper rifle to mark enemy targets which applies a damage bonus for your entire team.

Being able to predict the bullet drop is actually quite an interesting advantage considering the very mobile nature of combat in Apex Legends. Even if the concept of bullet drop is not a new one among the gamers, it is still tough to master especially when you are fighting in a fast-paced environment.

Another critical change in this season is the self-revive ability being removed. Instead, the Gold Knockdown Shields will have the Guardian Angel perk and the Gold Backpacks will have Deep Pockets perk.
