Dying Light 2 is delivering what it promised, one step at a time. After the initial DLC packs with some special gear sets, they are patching the game up with their previously confirmed content. This time, patch 1.3.0 brings the New Game Plus mode. Now players will be able to play again with their character, enjoy it in a different and escalated difficulty setting once the main game is completed.
Techland mentions that the New Game Plus mode also brings new enemy behaviors, 30 new inhibitors, new platinum objectives for parkour challenges, a new legendary weapon tier, gold encounters and enemy difficulty levels that scale to the player’s level.
Patch 1.3.0 also brings some improvements to co-op mode for a smoother experience. The changes include general performance improvements, fixes for connection issues and more. There is also a new quest “Something Big Has Been Here”, which introduces “special elemental Goon variants”. If you want to beat bigger enemies, here is your chance.
