Evil Dead: The Game was a surprisingly good game that tricked us into thinking that it would be a quick cash grab from a known franchise. Now the game is receiving a free update taking players to Castle Kandar for a whole experience of classic zombie flick “Army of Darkness”.
Army of Darkness is a fun content that focuses rather on the goofy part of the zombie theme than the bloody and gory atmosphere of Evil Dead. Still, there are quite fun moments so it is worth a try. There are some other places from the movie that you can visit like the windmill, the Arthurian Outpost, Fort Gort, and the Castle Kandar keep. Game will also add single-player Exploration mode, so you can easily open all maps and walk around the locations while killing the Deadites as you like.
Last but not least, we will be seeing two new weapons alongside some cosmetics. We will be able to enjoy Mace and Explosive Crossbow with this update.
