Bandai Namco recently confirmed that their systems were attacked by hackers, and they were successful. There was an unauthorized access to their internal systems on 3rd of July. There were earlier reports of such an incident, but it took some time until Bandai Namco confirmed it.
According to the reports, a group called vx-underground noticed that another group called BlackCat added Bandai Namco to their list of victims with no open statement about the amount of data stolen.
Currently there is not a precise statement about the attackers or how much data was stolen if any. Once they measure up the damage and the possibility of customer information being stolen, a follow-up statement may be made.
