Guy Beahm, a.k.a. Dr. Disrespect, founded a AAA game studio last year called Midnight Society with former Call of Duty creative strategist Robert Bowling and Halo 5 multiplayer designer Quinn Delhoyo. They are still working on their first game, and they recently began selling beta access with $50 Founders Pass. Game does not have much details revealed yet, but it will be a free-to-play multiplayer FPS game made in Unreal Engine 5. They mentioned that the game will be an extraction shooter, best examples of which being Escape From Tarkov and Hunt: Showdown. Game is called “Project Moon”.
They are planning to release playable “snapshots” for Founders every 6 weeks, so people can try and see how the progress goes. First snapshot is called SnapshotCL1000, and it will feature a unique shooting range. Currently there is no release date for this snapshot. As much as there is a hype about the game due to Dr. Disrespect name being behind it, time will tell if it will be worth it.
