The defending World Champions are coming strong to this years European Championship with the addition of Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema to the squad after his career peak season. Kylian Mbappe, Antonie Griezmann and Karim Benzema trio will be fighting to become the fourth team to win consecutive World Cup and Euro titles after West Germany (Euro 72, World Cup 74), France (World Cup 98, Euro 2000) and Spain (Euro 2008, World Cup 2010 and Euro 2012).

France is hungry for this title considering they lost the last Euro final in front of the home crowd at Paris to Portugal. Pogba and his teammates will be seeking redemption this summer.

In an interview with Eurosport, Pogba said:

“We have a PlayStation team but it will remain a PlayStation team if we don’t win a trophy. Being world champions and having a team like that, we will be expected to do even more. We must remain humble. I want to give this message: It’s not a foregone conclusion. We hear a lot of talk but we keep out feet on the ground.”

France will be facing Hungary, Germany and defending champions Portugal in the group stage which is the most stacked group in the tournament. A hard challenge is waiting for France, with the lead of Dider Deschamps they are aiming for that trophy they missed 5 years ago.
