Sonic Frontiers has been out for a month, and people already loved it. The game was not expected to be this good and almost everyone seems happy about the current state of the game. Seeing the crowd loving the game, director has made comments about the future plans.
Morio Kishimoto, the game director, mentioned that there are a lot of different plans and surprises for the future. Especially after the award won in The Game Awards, he says that this motivated the team for a much better work. He did not gave any specific details about the upcoming plans though, as he wants to keep the plans as surprise.
One of the biggest challenges for Sonic Frontiers was making the way into three-dimensional setting from the good old two-dimensional one. This also sounds pretty much like the transition between GTA2 and GTA3, where people felt both excited and weird. Now people are excited for the Sonic Frontiers DLC news, such as the Monster Hunter collaboration pack. We might see more of such projects coming up soon.
