Star Wars fans have been having some great time lately especially after The Skywalker Saga is out, but this news may be a bit sad. Some reports are mentioning that the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 is going to be next-gen only. Players will be able to enjoy the game on only Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Considering the severe lack of new console supply, this is a very bold move.
Lately a lot of development teams, even the ones under the flag of Sony, are trying to make their games compatible with older models like PlayStation 4 so everyone will be able to play them. Jeff Grubb says that the game is expected to get a proper unveiling at Star Wars Celebration at the end of May, but nothing has been confirmed. Only confirmed information is that Respawn and EA have confirmed they are working on a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, but that is all for now.
Last but not least, there are rumors about the game that it is not going to be named Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2. Expected release date is in 2022.
