The Last of Us has been a staple game for many players. The series reached to a lot of people on PC and PlayStation over the years, and now game’s co-creator Neil Druckmann announced on Twitter that the game will also be available on Steam Deck.
Currently there is not any information about how smooth the experience on Steam Deck will be. Considering that The Last of Us requires PS5, frame rate and gameplay quality may not hold up on the handheld platform. Players are waiting for the PC release of the game and now there is another option for people who are not using a PlayStation console.
More and more games are making their way to Steam Deck nowadays, but all big names are apparently sharing the same problem. Carrying the same levels of smooth gameplay into Steam deck proves difficult for many, and the investment may backfire.
