The small but addictive roguelike of late, Vampire Survivors, is coming up with even more new content as they are approaching the full release. Today there is a new and unexpected minor update that brings some bugfixes and some new content along.
For a surprise update, it brings quite a satisfying amount of additions. It starts with some QoL changes such as unlockable random character choice, skipping the weapon selection from Candybox, option to stop moving backgrounds in Moongolow and Cappella Magna, cash-in all remaining revives when a stage is completed, some new sprites and a new secondary skin for the playable character Christine.
Other than the QoL, game now has a quick start mode that randomizes the character and level while providing us a “playable question mark”. Yes, our character becomes a question mark when we pick the quick start mode. Vampire Survivors indeed has its own taste of humor.
Full release is quite close, and developer mentions that there might be other minor updates that brings similar changes to the game until version 1.0 is released. Besides, there will be an announcement for the final release date so keep your eyes and ears open.
