Warhammer 40000: Darktide is quite close for release, and developer Fatshark wanted to celebrate it with some nice giveaway event. The giveaway event started with the Vermintide 2 being free between 3-7 November. During those days, 10 million people claimed a copy of the game.
While the giveaway for the base game ended, Fatshark now spoils players with another free treat. First half of a free DLC for the game, called A Treacherous Adventure, is now live. It adds a new map to the game, named Trail of Treachery. Players will be escorting a caravan through a snowy mountain pass to a location where second half of the DLC will probably take place.
There are a lot of cosmetics to be acquired, and also there is a patch fixing some issues players are encountering during gameplay. It may be a good time to remember a nice game.
