Vampire the Masquerade – Bloodhunt became the latest Battle Royale game to shine among its peers, and it is indeed interesting to see the good old vampire theme in the genre. After a while, developer Sharkmob announced its first major update and shared some details. Planned changes are apparently addressing the community’s requests and concerns, which seem to be a good sign for any developer who wants to succeed.

This update is called “June Community Update”, so the focus on community requests and feedback is not a surprise at all. Most serious issues heard from the community are the controller support and dynamic camera mechanics, which are very clearly acknowledged by Sharkmob. In its current state, camera response curves are somewhat unpredictable and the fast nature of the game makes it even worse when it is combined the aim assist function. Other than that, some balance changes will be made. These changes include a reduced Bloodhunted timer, decreased melee lifesteal, and a rebalance for shotguns.

With this attitude and dedication, Sharkmob might soon become a reliable developer among the community and earn a great respect before long.
