Valve is bringing a nice surprise for people who like Nintendo Switch’s Joy-Con controllers. Steam will soon have support for these controllers thanks to Valve’s recent work.
In the most recent Steam beta, it is mentioned that you will be able to use Joy-Cons both individually or as a matched pair. This is pretty much similar to how we use it on Switch games. You can opt into the Steam beta by following Valve’s instructions on their website and try it out for yourself.
Besides the Joy-Con controller support, Valve is also improving its support for classic Nintendo controllers that are sold to Switch Online subscribers. There is not much in-depth details about this one though, but you can use Switch-specific NES, SNES, N64 and Sega Genesis controllers on Steam.
