Gaming history has some great examples of collaborations where some food or drink brands coming together to run campaigns for gamers, providing some in-game items or bonuses. People are usually getting special cosmetics or XP boosts thanks to these collaborations. One of the best examples of it is the Mountain Dew Game Fuel and Halo 3 collaboration. Lately, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 also seems to be enjoying some partnership with various brands.
One of those brands is Jack Link’s Beef Jerky. The brand provides some Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 codes on their packages. Unfortunately though, the codes are attached to a sticker on the outside of packages. Some people managed to steal the codes, leaving the packages on the shelves. Some known names like Modern Warzone mentioned that himself and a few more Reddit users checked a high number of packages in their local areas and found no codes on the packages.
In case you may think that a manufacturing error could be the case, the fact that you can find those codes on eBay simply discards the possibility. Same thing happened with the Burger King campaign last week, as some people sold their codes online for great amounts. Those codes from Jack Link’s Beef Jerky packages are being sold around $15 at the moment. The codes provide ghillie suit skin, XP boost, name plate and spray in case you are wondering.
