Recently there was a leak for Skate, as an internal build was distributed without permission of Electronic Arts. They acted in swift and sharp fashion to punish the leaker, and developers in Full Circle released a statement about the potential outcomes of playing it.
Full Circle made it clear that downloading and playing these earlier builds “breaks Electronic Arts Terms of Service”, meaning that you could be risking your account. If you want an example, aforementioned punishment from Electronic Arts against the leaker was banning an account full of Electronic Arts games permanently. The build is mentioned to be from September, so it is probably not a great experience anyway except you have a special interest in such things.
Currently there is no release date given for new Skate game, but Full Circle recommends signing up for insider playtest periods if you want to experience the game as early as possible. Plus, it is totally safe for your account.
