One Battlefield 2042 insider has teased what the upcoming multiplayer shooter will offer in store when it gets released later this year. Despite the game having so many content stacked for launch, DICE and EA are going to continue adding up to it.
According to Tom Henderson, a highly accurate source of information about Battlefield 2042, DICE is planning to add many new features to the game after its release. Particularly, DICE is leaning towards a new content in a seasonal format. In each season, there will be two new maps, one new specialist, plenty of new weapons, up to three new vehicles, and more action will be added to Battlefield 2042. Henderson also mentions that all of the new additions will be free so players can enjoy the game.
Right now, EA is planning to release Battlefield 2042 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S on October 22. An open beta will be available one month before its release.
