There are a few days until the Destiny 2: Season of Plunder ends, yet players are unable to matchmake on top of some annoying server issues. The problem began with the recent maintenance period. Players suddenly got stuck in the matchmaking screen in all modes, and some of them could not complete the activities.
Bungie quickly acknowledged the issues and began working on them, but the downtime was not really short. While the issues are not entirely fixed, Bungie posted a tweet that says they found the problem and the fix is on its way. After a couple hours, they also confirmed that the problem is solved and players should be able to matchmake again.
Expectedly, people were furious on social media about those errors and extensive maintenance periods especially around the end of the season. Players are mostly trying to complete the seasonal challenges so every second counts. Destiny 2 sees issues like this from time to time but this one was a bit too severe to be honest.
