As VGX reports, with the latest update of Assassin’s creed Valhalla, players will be able to play the game with DualSense controllers. Now PC players have the chance to experience Valhalla with adaptive trigger technology. This trigger especially makes a huge difference in terms of immersiveness when it comes to triggers of weapons. In Valhalla, when players want to fire a bowl they’ll need to click one more time after trigger paused halfway. This is also used in games like Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and other shooter games where players are mainly using shooting mechanic.
Thought, there is an important point that we need to point out: DualSense adaptive triggers controllers will work only if you connect it with cable. So you won’t be able to connect your controller via Bluetooth. At least that’s what we have got for now.
Just like Valhalla, Metro Exodus used DualSense for PC last year. Then again, Metro Exodus also required players to connect their controllers via cable in order to use adaptive triggers. Other PC games could give DualSense a go, following Valhalla and Metro Exodus’s path. But of course we need to wait and see.
