Sonic Frontiers suffers broken street date

Sonic Frontiers is constantly running into problems, but this time it is not anything technical or development-related. Apparently some retailers have broken the street date of the game and players are buying the game earlier than intended. This causes an inevitable wave of spoilers on the internet.

As if the terrible incident above is not enough, Switch version of the game is also pirated and it is reportedly being widely obtained by countless players around the web. Sega is doing their best to take them all down as soon as possible, a huge amount of leaks and spoilers are already shared. Only good news is though, most of those streams are taken down in minutes after starting.

Sonic Frontiers is not the only game that suffers the street date problems, as Gotham Knights and A Plague Tale: Requiem also had the similar issues this year. Sonic Frontiers will officially be released on November 8, 2022 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Switch and PC. It will be getting free Monster Hunter DLC shortly after release.
