The Callisto Protocol finally launched and made it through the initial issues. After the first day disaster that included unbearable stutters, now the game is mostly okay to play. There are a lot of great details in the game, and one of those details is the death animations. While the animations are great, there was one minor issue with them as you could not skip them. Now you can, with the latest patch.
Striking Distance Studios released a patch which streamlined a lot of things in the game, especially combat, and also allowed players to skip the death animations. Other things such as healing and weapon switching are also now quicker.
Patch notes also say “Look for combat improvements, performance and stability fixes, localization optimizations, and general quality of life changes. We’re listening and grateful for your feedback. More to come”. Last but not least, they are working on some PC optimizations.
