More details on Total War Battles: WARHAMMER have been released, giving a little insight into the new game set in the Warhammer universe and inspired by Creative Assembly’s Total War series.
Total War Battles: WARHAMMER is a strategy game filled with magic, epic monsters and massive battles. While scaled down for mobile platforms, it gives the same feeling as playing Total War Warhammer games on PC. Title was revealed around last November, and now we know more about the story and gameplay.
The game is set on a mysterious island that has emerged from the depths of the ocean, and we are fighting a battle between Skaven’s malevolent rat-men and other races of the Warhammer world to take control of a rare and dangerous ore. You will assemble your army by choosing the right lord and show your strategy to your opponents.
Total War Battles: Warhammer also allows you to form powerful alliances. You create your own faction and then invite others to join your ranks and fight together. You can rule this faction through trade, diplomacy, and politics, and it looks like a fun way to experience Total War with other people.
We don’t know exactly when the game will be released at the moment. Total War Battles: Warhammer will be available in beta later this year on the iOS App Store and the Google Play for Android store.
