Street Fighter is known for not revealing the entire roster of fighters before release, but this time they have broken their own rule. Capcom confirmed Luke, Jamie, Manon, Kimberly, Marisa, Lily, JP, Juri, Dee Jay, Cammy, Ryu, E. Honda, Blanka, Guile, Ken, Chun-Li, Zangief, and Dhalsim. Ironically, the roster was leaked during the early months of 2022.
According to this list of confirmed fighters, we will be seeing all original “World Warriors” from Street Fighter II. In another news, Capcom announced that the closed beta for Street Fighter 6 Battle Hub will begin next month. This beta testing will be taking place on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC platforms for three days. Cross-play feature will be enabled for this test.
The closed beta will also feature a lot of game modes. The list of available game modes in the beta includes Ranked Match, Casual Match, Battle Hub Match, Open Tournament, Extreme Battle, Game Center, and Training Mode. Eight characters will be available until the testing period ends.
Last but not least, Capcom also revealed more details for World Tour during their recent presentation. This mode will be more like a story mode and provide players with various content such as exploration and challenges.
