Call of Duty: Vanguard Season Two is soon to bring along further content, and players will have a Ranked Play mode to test their skills against other players in a more competitive setting. As announced by Activision and Sledgehammer Games there will be a beta released at the start of Season Two, but apparently the beta phase will start a bit later now. The ranked mode beta phase will begin on February 17th. Also, additional new details were shared to show what this ranked experience will look like in Vanguard.

The date for the beta phase was shared on Twitter alongside a video showing some information regarding Ranked Play mode. You probably have an idea of already if you played in the ranked mode of past Call of Duty games, but the video surely provides further specifics about the upcoming content.

In Vanguard, the Ranked Play mode will have seven different skill divisions with five tiers within each of them. First, you will play five placement matches to approximately get an idea of where you should be, and then you will be placed into one of those divisions for your journey onwards. There’s also a rank progression system that’ll take you up to Rank 50.

With your achievements and ranking throughout each season, you will be able to obtain rewards. Those who can make it near the top, will be able to view their precise position on a leaderboard that shows the top 250 players. Very likely, the pros will be hanging out there too, so top-tier players may find themselves ranked among professional Call of Duty players.
