The news and surprises about Diablo Immortal are not ending anytime soon, that’s for sure. With the controversies and backlashes it sparked on its way, we will have a lot to talk about it for a long time. This time, we are talking about the success celebrated by Blizzard.

Game has launched two months ago, and some countries like Belgium and Netherlands are not in the list due to their own regulations. But Blizzard recently posted a Tweet from the official Diablo Immortal account, mentioning that they have hit the 30 million total install count. They also reminded that they are giving every player a reward to celebrate this.

What is even more surprising though, is a recent report about the game saying that Diablo Immortal earned over $100M globally. While these numbers are usually extrapolated from various data, they are usually accurate enough. It also does not reflect the impact of install count from Chinese users as the game launched on 25th of July in China, where it immediately climbed to the top of download lists.

Like it or not, Diablo Immortal has been a hit on mobile platforms. As much as the criticism from many players are understandable on their own terms, it did not prevent the game from reaching to the intended outcome for Blizzard. Next time we hear about these numbers and reports, impact from China will be probably included so brace yourselves for a surprise.
