Fortnite recently announced its end-of-season event named Collision, featuring a giant mech which does not look very “friendly”. So far, there was not much information about the event but now we have a trailer to see what we may expect from this event. The end-of-season event is expected to bring a dramatic conclusion to the territory war over Fortnite’s island. After driving back most of the Imagined Order forces from vital POIs on the map, “Collision” seems to be the final showdown between the IO and The Seven. Needless to say, it will have at least one giant mech.
The different variants of the Mecha Weapons Team Outfits, seen in the images and the trailer, are available in Fortnite’s item shop for players to enjoy. The event will begin on June 4th, 4PM ET / 1PM PT. It will be a one-time only event so if you miss it, you miss it forever. Players are able to queue up to 30 minutes before the event begins, and players who do not have a squad will be grouped up automatically by the servers.
In addition to the Mecha Weapons Team Outfits, Fortnite has released its Fortnite Crew pack for June 2022. This pack features a skin of the gargantuan mech itself, Mecha Strike Commander. Several related cosmetics come with the pack as well, like the Mecha Light Capacitor Back Bling and Mecha Reborn Wrap. Players who purchase June’s Fortnite Crew now will have both the current season’s Battle Pass, and Chapter 3 Season 3’s Battle Pass once the chapter begins.
