Latest news and trailers about Gotham Knights were mostly exciting and positive, though this time we are hearing a sad one. According to the executive producer Fleur Marty, they could not include a performance/quality toggle and therefore game will only run at 30 FPS.
The reason behind this decision was the list of features in the game, including untethered co-op and a highly detailed open world. Marty says that it is not as simple as lowering the resolution and getting higher frame rates unfortunately. Game is expected to be released on 21st of October, and this news hit console owners close to home.
A few months ago, Warner Bros announced that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases were cancelled. Now, new-gen console owners are hearing about this restriction about the frame rates. Just in a few days, we will see how all these decisions will turn out.
