Jetpack Joyride is one of the most famous iOS games of all time, and a lot of people enjoyed it at some point even if they are not a huge gamer. After over a decade, this little cute game is getting an exclusive sequel for Apple Arcade.
Jetpack Joyride 2 is announced for release on 19th of August, so there is not much left. The game will have a lot of similarities with its first game, as you will still be playing the usual side-scrolling shooter game where you will shoot, survive, dodge and gather a lot of coins on the way. According to Apple though, the game will have new mechanics that will carry you through a story-driven experience.
There are new screenshots and trailers revealed in the official Jetpack Joyride 2 App Store page. The game actually had a soft launch back in March 2021, but it was recently pulled back from Google Play and App Store on 28th of February for a closed phase of development. Now the game seems to come out permanently.
