Marauders is a “space themed looter shooter game” announced by publisher Team17 a short while ago. Developed by Small Impact Games, Marauders is especially mentioned to be similar to the well-known hardcore shooter game Escape From Tarkov, but obviously in space. A more specific description of the theme for the game is “an early 90s alternative dieselpunk future”. Players will be taking the role of a pirate that tries to break into spaceships, loot whatever they can and survive through the conflicts they encounter there.
You can go solo or with a team up to four players. The loot you find can be used to help in future matches, or upgrade your ship. Game is intending to employ realistic bullet physics, so you can expect some serious realism during fights. Of course, you can mod your weapon as you like and try to gain advantage over your enemies during fights.
Early Access is not very soon, but is expected to take place during 2022. In the meanwhile, you can try the demo that will be available between 7th-9th of April that will be featured in WASD event in London.
