A recent tweet showed some incredibly realistic footage from Modern Warfare 2, as the city Amsterdam looks almost real. The game is surely expected to have a high degree of visual quality, but this is really unbelieveable. Infinity Ward seems dedicated on this one.
All details you can see in the tweet above is separately worth talking about. There is not even one thing that sits in the wrong place or misses its mark. Sounds are also very realistic and it all makes you feel like you are walking on the streets of Amsterdam.
Some Dutch citizens on social media made fun of the cultural details though, but it is both expected and funny at the same time. Details such as no license plates, public urination fine and an NPC feeding ducks in the canal. While they were all jokes, what matters here is what we see and hear with our own eyes and ears.
Modern Warfare 2 pre-orders already have access to the game since 20th of October, but rest of the players will have to wait until 28th of October.
