Dead Cells is one of those games which receive lots of content and updates along the way. There are small ones, big ones, and many various sizes of instances of them with different sizes and significance. Latest one is also not very big but it is actually important considering the crossover it includes from several indie games. A total of six indie games are coming in with their content to Dead Cells with this update. The list goes like this: Blasphemous, Curse of the Dead Gods, Guacamelee, Hollow Knight, Hyper Light Drifter, and Skul.
Update is also called “Everyone Is Here”, which sounds quite fit for such a move. Every single game on the list brings one new item and one new outfit to the game. Players can obtain these enticing items in the Prisoners’ Quarters, where “unusual new rooms” have spawned. Those rooms provide players with new tools and additional “glory and strength”. Also developers mentioned “a strange, mysterious, might-be-full-of-hints book” with “cryptic and incomprehensible” sayings that players can discover in the Prisoners’ Quarters.
Furthermore, there are balance and quality-of-life updates in addition to some bugfixes. But these late items and crossovers mean a lot to Dead Cells players as it signifies how far the game has come.
