Sony recently confirmed that they are bringing eight games from the Yakuza series to PlayStation Plus. First game will be available in August, and rest of those titles will arrive over time. There is one catch though, as you will receive only one of them if you are subscribed to the PlayStation Plus Essential tier. This means you will need to have a higher tier of subscription.
First one to come is Yakuza: Like A Dragon. This one is great for starters, and you will have entire August month to enjoy this game. All subscription tiers will be able to receive this game as it is provided in the Monthly Games list. Besides Yakuza, the list also has other great hits like Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 and Little Nightmares.
If you are a subscriber for Extra or Premium tier, you will also have access to Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 during August. Remasters of Yakuza 3, 4, 5 and 6 will be available later in 2022. If you like the series and have a PlayStation Plus subscription, this will keep you busy for a long time.
