In recent months, some game companies have been fighting harder against hackers and harassers. Most notable name in the list is Bungie with its lawsuits, but other companies are also being targeted by the same toxic people. Another name that came under the spotlight is Respawn Entertainment, most famous for Apex Legends and Titanfall. They released a warning to people who think it might be okay to harass developers.
Respawn shortly mentioned that they are totally okay with receiving feedback of all sorts, but harassing the staff is not going to be welcome at all. This is entirely understandable, and more importantly Bungie has provided their direct support to the cause under the Tweet posted.
Respawn also responded to this support with an orange heart, causing some slight rumors and guesses about the possible “collaboration” about the matter. This actually sounds a bit strange if it happened, but unfortunately companies seem to feel obliged to warn people about their toxic actions.
