Psyonix is definitely enjoying their progress with Rocket League franchise as the game has been following a pretty stable and strong progress curve over the years. With their late surprise for the mobile platforms, called Rocket League Sideswipe, they also got a new field of play.
Sideswipe now has its third season along with a lot of content, new arena, new mode and more for the players. One of the most expected additions to the game is Threes time-limited mode, as it allows good old 3v3 matches instead of the usual 2v2 mode adopted by Rocket League Sideswipe.
Coming up next is the spectator mode for the game, which obviously allows you to watch others’ matches. This is actually interesting for a mobile game, but still awesome nonetheless. Also there were many players who wished for new content just like back in the original Rocket League, and Psyonix did not forget it either. We now have a new Rocket Pass priced at $9.99, bringing in a lot of new cosmetic items for players to grab.
Patch notes are not in yet, but should arrive soon enough.
