SEGA is known to be working a project called “Super Game”, and they are digging into their good old games to bring back some memories. In today’s news, we have a surprise if you are a fan of Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi. According to a report by Takashi Mochizuki of Bloomberg on April 19, 2022, SEGA is currently developing “big budget reboots of its Dreamcast games Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio”.
But it may be a bit early to celebrate it all out. Both Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio titles are in very early development, and a cancellation may happen if things do not go well on SEGA’s side. Their ultimate goal with the project is to create a huge structure like Epic Game’s Fortnite, which is able to generate a “recurring revenue”.
While these news are still far from being official, the alliance between Microsoft and SEGA should not be underestimated.
