Sega has announced that they’ve collaborated with Jet Set Radio for Monkey Ball Banana Mania, offering the players an unlockable character from Jet Set Radio.
From the announcement made by Sega, Beat will join the Super Monkey Ball family as a free, unlockable character alongside AiAi, MeeMee, Gongon, Doctor, YanYan and Baby. If you get the deluxe version of the game, you’ll get a Classic Character Pack that make the monkeys in your game look like their Gamecube versions.
Last time we saw a Jet Set Radio was Jet Set Radio Future on the original Xbox. All the way back in 2002. 19 years ago.
Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania is set to release on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC on October 5th.
