Developer known for Call of Duty, Treyarch, issued a public statement regarding Blizzard scandal that shook the gaming scene. While there are previous statements from various Twitter accounts of Blizzard-related studios, this is the first time that one of the sub studios of Blizzard made a comment on the Blizzard scandal itself. In the meanwhile, Raven Software strike is still ongoing and now it’s on its 22nd day as of this writing.
The tweet was locked to a few parties in terms of replies and mentions, so it is safe to say that Treyarch definitely wanted unnecessary verbal fights and dramas away from this. And the message itself is quite convenient and promising – yet all companies make such announcements and how many of them really abide by that?
We will see by time, as this Blizzard scandal may be a spark for a better change indeed.
