First ARK game brought us a fresh and solid air of dinosaur-themed survival games, gathering many fans around the title. Now the players are waiting for a sequel to keep enjoying the content they loved so far.
According to a recent post, Studio Wildcard confirmed that it is one of many studios utilizing Unreal Engine 5 for their game. Considering that the original ARK: Survival Evolved was using Unreal Engine 4, this isn’t too much of a big difference. Still, it proves that Studio Wildcard is more than ready to advance their efforts into the next generation of Unreal and bring in new features and new highs of quality to the game.
ARK 2 was teased by Studio Wildcard at The Game Awards 2021, where it was showcased in a cinematic trailer featuring Vin Diesel. Currently there is not a release date announced for ARK 2, but with the hints of solid development at hand, we should be hearing from them soon about the good news.
