Vampire Survivors had a very surprise launch in 2022, dominating all the charts out of nowhere. Developer Poncle openheartedly said that that did not expect such a success at all, but they were surely happy to see it. Now they informed the fans about their upcoming plans.
One of the most crucial points of those plans is the upcoming console ports such as Switch or PlayStation. Expanding the list of supported platforms is one of the priorities for Poncle. When it comes to mobile phones though, Poncle admitted that they had to rush the game in order to prevent cheap clones flooding the market. There will be upcoming improvements for mobile version. For PC, there will be a new engine which will also provide a choice between the old and new ones.
First DLC, Legacy of the Moonspell, is already here with huge success. There will be more DLCs to expect this year, and their scope will be similar with the first one. One sad part of those DLCs is that there will be less free feature updates. Last but not least, Poncle is also working on a new game which is not directly related to Vampire Survivors. This will probably be a great year for us all.
