Warcraft 3: Reforged was unfortunately a disappointment for many fans, as promises were flying high but the resulting work did not really follow through the majority of them. Despite better graphics and some reworked gameplay parts, people mostly mentioned that it was not worth it.
One modder, Luca Pasqualini, decided to take on the challenge and created a Warcraft 3: Reforge mod called Warcraft 3: Re-Reforged. Pasqualini spent last couple years working on this project, remastering almost everything Blizzard promised to remaster but did not really create a difference.
Luca Pasqualini was also one of those fans who was hyped for Warcraft 3: Reforged but could not find what he hoped for. This pushed him to try “re-reforging” the first map of the prologue and his journey began there. The game is not fully remade with all campaigns and The Frozen Throne though, as there are only Exodus of the Horde and the Scourge of Lordaeron campaigns available in Warcraft 3: Re-Reforged.
