CD Projekt Red is coming back with good news today. The studio previously confirmed that they were working on a new Witcher game, and today they made it clear that The Witcher 4 is in pre-production phase. According to the developers, the research phase is finished and project officially moved to the pre-production phase. Now they are capitalizing development expenses for the game according to their own statements.
Exciting part about this new Witcher game is that they confirmed we will not be seeing “just another Geralt story”. This new game will bring us a whole new saga, and it may possibly feature a bunch of new witchers we have not seen before. This will be surely tricky to implement, but CD Projekt Red is not a rookie team either. In time, we will be seeing more news and content to understand how it will all unfold.
