We are looking at another leak this week which is relatively smaller but still an important one. Someone uploaded 40 minutes of Diablo 4 testing footage to a file sharing service. This was not a result of a hacking incident like in GTA 6 though, as the videos were recorded by someone in Discord.
This upload was noticed in Reddit by a user, iV1rus0, and quickly spread. There are two videos in the upload, one being 5 minutes long and the other 38 minutes long. This private Discord stream was recorded by one of the viewers, and uploaded online. Voices of people speaking are modulated to conceal their identities, but video is clearly watermarked so it will be probably very easy for Blizzard to who streamed the game in Discord. As for the person who records and uploads it, well you could never ask for enemies when you have friends like that.
When it comes to the game, it looks actually quite good. While the test build understandably has some stuff not fixed in their places properly yet, the foundations of open world and combat look good. In case you want to try the game before it comes out, let us remind that Blizzard also started a closed end game beta testing. During the beta, players will try the end game and provide feedback. In case you are not invited to the beta, they also have some good news. A public beta testing will take place in early 2023.
