Merely hours ago, Sony announced that they are preparing for the next State of Play event on September 13th, at 6PM ET. This event will contain new reveals and updates for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR2. The official Twitter account for PlayStation mentioned that they will be bringing great updates from their Japanese partners and worldwide developers. We will be seeing 10 upcoming games in 20 minutes during the event.

Previously, PlayStation revealed that the PSVR2 will be released in early 2023. There are some titles already revealed for the new VR headset, including Resident Evil Village and Horizon: Call of the Mountain, but the complete list is not revealed yet.

Potential updates coming from the Japanese partners of Sony might be referring to news about Final Fantasy 16. The series does not look like it will be done anytime soon.

Previous State of Play event was held back in June and there were news about Final Fantasy 16, Street Fighter 6, PC versions of Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Last but not least, PC version of Returnal was also hinted strongly in last months.
