SkyBox Labs is a developer studio founded back in 2011. They had two original games TASTEE: Lethal Tactics and Stela. They also worked as co-developers of a bunch of high-profile games from Xbox Game Studios and Electronic Arts.
This studio is currently working on games like Halo Infinite, Minecraft and Fallout 76. They also worked on some previous Halo and Minecraft games besides the Age of Empires series and Project Spark. In recent news on Friday, they announced that SkyBox will be operating independently within NetEase Games. They will continue their work with their existing partners.
With this move, SkyBox became the latest name to be acquired by NetEase after Grasshopper Manufacture and Quantic Dream.
