A new showcase event for Call of Duty is announced by Activision, and they are naming this event Call of Duty Next. The showcase is going to be live on 15th of September, 1PM ET. Viewers will be check it out on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.
The press release says that this event will be showcasing the Modern Warfare 2, Warzone 2.0 and the new mobile version for Warzone.
While the series is absolutely a legend in gaming and esports, Activision did not come up with its best performance in recent years. The proposal of acquisition between Activision Blizzard and Microsoft made it clear that Vanguard actually missed its mark with a serious difference and did not meet the expectations during Q4. Therefore, for the first time in the series since 2005, the annual release schedule of Call of Duty was disrupted.
In recent discussions, the series also became a focal point of a heated argument between Sony and Microsoft. In Call of Duty Next, we are hoping to find some answers to a lot of questions.
