Valve released a list for most played games for Steam Deck throughout September month. Among a lot of contestants, Cyberpunk 2077 appears to have a great success on handheld gaming too. It was on the 4th place in the list. Other remarkable names were already there in previous months too, such as Vampire Survivors, Elden Ring and Stardew Valley.
It may look surprising as Steam Deck does not provide a fully equal experience compared to a PC, but the refreshed attention of gamers towards Cyberpunk 2077 all around the world is no joke at all. After Patch 1.6 and the Edgerunners anime series on Netflix, people wanted to give the game a second chance.
With the consecutively broken records of peak concurrent players, daily player count and copies sold over and over, Cyberpunk 2077 finally seems to find the fame it was destined to. CD Projekt Red unfortunately experienced one of the worst launches of all time due to many mistakes made during the development stage, but they managed to turn the tide after 1.5 years of hard work.
