It is a standard for MMO games to embrace content creation for staying hot, and Destiny is not an exception. But in recent days, many content creators suddenly began receiving DMCA notices for their content. This includes high-profile ones like MyNameIsByf and Aztecross too.

Bungie’s intellectual property policy is considered pretty aggressive at this point as even their own Destiny 2 videos on YouTube are being affected by those strikes. Bungie has confirmed neither it nor its partners are behind the DMCA takedowns, and they are investigating the issue as we speak. This could not get any funnier.

On the other hand though, content creators who make a living off these videos and other content are threatened by these absurd applications of copyrights. While they may be seen as living a great and easy life, such moments show that how sensitive their balance is.
